Pain and Gain of a Mountain Race
4.30 am on Sunday, up for the morning ritual before picking up Mario at 6.00 to make it to Cercedilla with plenty of time to get our race number without any hassle. The weather is perfect, sunny with a bit of wind and surely up at the top it will be windier, but we’ll actually be grateful for that. And by the time we get to the finish line it will be quite hot.
