In this way, bottlenecks, rework, deviations and sources of waste in processes can be identified, and opportunities to optimise performance and maximise business results can be uncovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Process Mining<\/em> has 5 main phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Capture<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Automatically collect transactional data from digital event traces left by processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Capture data from the different applications and systems related to the processes.<\/li><li>Additionally, data obtained from the manual process discovery study can also be incorporated<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2.&nbsp;Display<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Create a visual model of how processes work, showing clearly what is done in reality against a theoretical model expected or intended to occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Identify tasks, with their times, frequencies, sequence variations, who performs them, when, rework, etc.<\/li><li>Automatically create an end-to-end visual model of the processes.
