DECIDE, a leading company in the development of solutions based on advanced analytics and artificial intelligence in Spain, has appointed Arjen Heeres as the new CEO of the company.
Arjen Heeres has extensive experience in leading multinational companies specialized in planning and AI solutions and will help DECIDE into the next stage of international expansion.
Arjen Heeres is one of the most respected executives in the advanced analytics and optimization software industry. He was co-owner of Quintiq, a leading software company in the field of resource optimization and supply chain planning and served as Quintiq´s Chief Operating Officer for 15 years. He led the company´s global expansion and was responsible for marketing the advanced planning solutions of Quintiq. In 2014 Quintiq was acquired by Dassault Systemes, a global leader in the software development industry. At that time Quintig had more than 800 employees, more than 400 customers and was present in 13 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Oceania.

Alberto del Barrio, ex-CEO of the company, will lead ORQUEST. A workforce scheduling and management solution based on advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, which was born as a DECIDE project. From now on, ORQUEST continues as an independent organization.
